Scarce Vintage Selano Golden 6" Stylist Scissors! Top Nogent, France Quality!

Offered for your consideration is an excellent pair of older Selano 6" professional stylist shears or scissors.  The scissors were made in Nogent, France and they come in a fitted leather case  They offer full measures of the outstanding quality and performance that made Nogent one of the world's premier cutlery centers for centuries.  They offer performance that simply cannot be matched by the vast majority of scissors on the market.  As soon as these scissors are handled, it's quickly apparent that they are much different than scissors that can be bought at a department or discount store.  Even the sound that the blades produce with the cutting action is different. They feel more like a fine instrument than a common tool to hair.  They are in an entirely different category with the quality really setting them apart from most other brands.  This model was offered by Garrett Wade, a business that sells a wide range of premium-quality tools. They established their business by sourcing the highest quality products available.
The shears appear to have seen only light use and they remain in excellent condition with no problems at all  They have not been buffed or polished and remain original.
The shears were beautifully crafted and they immediately convey a sense of premium-quality precision.  They function perfectly and cut beautifully with a smooth, clean cutting action.  The blades have not been sharpened and retain their original factory edges.  The edges are free of any nicks, chips, dings, or damage and remain very nice with little obvious wear.  They remain sharp and the scissors are ready for immediate use.  Both tips are intact and original with no blunting, breaks, or bending.  The gold-tone finish remains intact with very little wear.
The shears measure 6-1/8" from the tips to the back of the finger loops in the closed position.
The leather case remains in excellent condition with no cuts, punctures, cracking, or damage.  The flap snaps securely closed and the finish exhibits just a bit of rub/wear as shown.
